We apologize for all the delays that have been happening with respect to the introduction of new Rich Text Area. Even though we have tested the changes and are ready to go, we had got into a fix with the dependency on DOCTYPE. Unless the DOCTYPE is released we cannot roll out the Rich text area changes. Since SDP have huge number of screens, we keep finding some issues or other while testing the DOCTYPE changes.The latest internal validation had very few UI issues being reported and we are in the process of fixing those reported issues. Once done and tested again, we should be able to release it.
We understand your difficulties with the current editor and are working very hard to get the DOCTYPE changes out. We should be releasing the DOCTYPE in another 3 weeks time, if we do not come across any showstopper / critical issues.
