Actually the size of description field in the client is supposed to be expanding dynamically (and to get only browser scroll when the content is more). Can you please post a screen shot of the issue along with SDP build number, browser and browser version (IE 9.0). I remember description field size was restricted in one of earlier builds and moved back to expand dynamically.
